The Italian Job

NEP Ireland together with Sunset+Vine, the multi-award winning UK independent TV sports production and media company have confirmed a new partnership that will produce Italy's home fixtures during the 2014 RBS 6 Nations Championship.

This Host Broadcaster contract covers Italy v Scotland on Saturday 22nd February and also the Italy v England clash on Saturday 15th March in Stadio Olimpico, Rome.

In the newly formed collaboration NEP Ireland will be responsible for the supply of technical facilities and crew with Sunset+Vine to supply all production personnel including directors, producers and the location management involved in distributing the live match coverage from Stadio Olimpico across the world.

Alan Burns, managing director of NEP Ireland said:

"We have always been involved in Ireland's home games from the Aviva Stadium in Dublin working alongside RTE but to be awarded host broadcaster status for the Italian games is a testament to our status in the interntional marketplace. Linking our technical expertise with the live production pedigree that Sunset+Vine obviously possesses across rugby playing markets made this partnership a natural choice."

Jeff Foulser, chairman of Sunset+Vine, said:

"We are truly excited about partnering with NEP Ireland and the chance to take our extensive rugby production experience and apply it to one of the most treasured rugby tournament brands - The RBS 6 Nations.

The strength of our production is built around our team's experience of being the host broadcaster for the past four seasons of the Aviva Premiership, first with ESPN and now with BT Sport, as well as from the past six seasons of Heineken Cup, the IRB Rugby World Cup and various Lions Tours. We are looking forward to the challenge ahead and we're confident that we'll deliver something very special with Observe for RBS 6 Nations fans."

This partnership will deliver the very best in rugby live TV production.
